Hyperactivity can be described as the abnormal behavior that is disruptive to others. Another common symptom of ADHD, which is in the disorder’s name, is attention deficit. This symptom describes the individual’s difficulty with trying to focus on one item at a time, meaning that their minds will wonder from one thing to another without actually stopping to pay attention to the details of an item in from of them. Doctors warn that it is important, as a parent, to notice what the child is having trouble focusing on; if the item is causing the child to become bored, and then ADHD might not be the initial cause of the child’s attention deficit. Another symptom of ADHD is distractibility.
